The mission of the Deputy Director for Strategy, Policy, Programs, and Logistics Directorate is to serve as principal advisor to TCJ5/4 on all futures initiatives including strategic planning, logistical transformation, force programming, policy development, and operational traffic management policies and procedures. Coordinate all Distribution Process Owner (DPO) related issues/responsibilities. Works with Joint Staff, Office of the SECDEF, Defense Agencies, and DOD field activities to improve the overall efficiency, effectiveness, and interoperability of distribution-related activities, systems, and data. | |

Deputy Director - (TCJ5/4-DS). Assists director with leadership of 7 divisions and over 250 military, civilian, and contractor personnel. Manages 14 support contracts, $36M budget. Oversees strategy, policy and doctrine governing the Defense Transportation System and Distribution Process Owner. Advocates global air, land and sea mobility capability requirements. Synchronizes and improves DOD supply chain performance. Preps TCCC for Congressional member and staffer visits and hearing testimonies. Tracks legislative initiatives and budget actions. | |
