| MISSION | |
| The Strategy and DPO Integration Division coordinates strategy, measures performance, manages Distribution Process Owner (DPO) governance and develops concepts. We serve as the DOD focal point for the Commander as military co-lead for the Logistics Capability Portfolio Management and Deployment & Distribution Capability Area Management. The Division performs strategic distribution evaluation of the Joint Deployment Distribution Enterprise and provides critical analysis, planning, including policy and procedures regarding supply chain support to operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. We analyze priority requirements, identify potential transformation opportunities, measure & assess distribution performance, and manage the integration of joint distribution operations. The Division also manages the initiatives and business results of USTRANSCOM's DPO mission and develops & synchronizes long-term communication guidance with OSD, Joint Staff, and other Combatant Commands. | |

JDDE Performance Improvement Branch - (TCJ5/4-SA) The JDDE Performance Improvement Branch is the command focal point for strategic distribution analysis and customer partnerships that enable and support DOD Supply Chain integration. In this role, the branch conducts leading edge distribution analyses for a fully integrated DOD supply chain; identifies and analyzes DPO functional capabilities; and develops distribution transformation concepts and initiatives to achieve a fully integrated DOD supply chain. JDDE Measurement and Analysis Branch - (TCJ5/4-SM). The JDDE Measurement and Analysis Branch is the command focal point for strategic distribution analysis to assess the Joint Deployment Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) ability to meet warfighter needs at the minimum total supply chain cost. DPO Program Integration Branch - (TCJ5/4-SP). The DPO Program Management Branch is responsible for managing the integration of distribution operations, managing the initiatives and business results of the DPO, monitoring stakeholder expectations, and taking corrective action to address changes in gaps and initiatives. Strategy & Concept Development Branch - (TCJ5/4-SS). The Strategy and Concept Development Branch is the command lead for strategic concepts/initiatives; formulate/publish Commander`s Guidance and Vision, USTRANSCOM Strategic Plan, Enterprise Transition Plan, and other strategic-level directives, instructions, and publications. Command advocate mid- to long-term strategic concepts/initiatives with OSD, Joint Staff, and other Combatant Commands. | |
