 MISSION
The Logistics Technology Integration Division is the command lead for Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) policy, initiatives, and implementation; Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E); and Joint Concept Development and Experimentation (JCD&E). USTRANSCOM is the DOD lead functional proponent for radio frequency identification (RFID) and related AIT in the DOD Supply Chain. TCJ5/4-T is the command focal point for RFID and AIT standards, security, and technical matters, and participates in DOD, commercial, national and international standards committees and forums. The division formulates DOD AIT policy and co-chairs the DOD AIT Synchronization IPT with ADUSD (SCI). Together with its AIT partners throughout the DOD, the division will implement a standardized and synchronized use of AIT; throughout the supply chain. The division orchestrates USTRANSCOM´s collaboration with the Science & Technology community and DoD the development and transition of transformation Joint Deployment & Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) capabilities. It also conducts studies, tests, experiments and assessments to support concept development and implementation.

 DIVISIONS
AIT Implementation Branch - (TCJ5/4-TA)     The AIT Implementation Branch is the lead functional proponent for radio frequency identification (RFID) and related automatic identification technology (AIT), our mission is to ensure AIT is synchronized to enhance asset visibility and maximize deployment and distribution operational efficiencies. Our vision is to implement an end-to-end, standard baseline AIT use throughout the supply chain to improve support to the warfighter.



Future Capabilities and Technology Branch - (TCJ5/4-TT)     The Future Concepts and Technology Branch orchestrates command interaction with the Joint Requirements Oversight Council. Documents out-year developmental and programming requirements through the command´s Integrated Priority List (IPL) and Science & Technology IPL. the command´s Research, Development, Test, & Evaluation (RDT&E) and Joint Capabilities Technology Demonstration (JCTD) programs.
