SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. - Congratulations and welcome to U.S Air Force Gen. Paul J. Selva on your appointment as Commander, U.S. Transportation Command here.  Selva is currently serving as the Commander, Air Mobility Command.  USTRANSCOM will hold a Change of Command at a date to be determined later.

"Gen Selva Congrats on this appointment. Been a while since we served as colonels at Travis AFB (you at the wing and me at 15 AF with Gen Sams). Have kept tabs on many of the folks from our Travis days - you have certainly done well. I wish you the best as you take the helm of USTRANCOM. Lots of challenges still to come!
